The Power of the Labyrinth!
a few moments of relaxation
answers to important questions about yourself
At its basic level the labyrinth is a metaphor for the
journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with
a broadened understanding of who you are. (Even those who say they are not
spiritual are enlightened by walking the path.)
For more than 4,000 years Labyrinths have been used in
a spiritual manner. Walking a Labyrinth can create a heightened awareness
within the human condition and aid in psychological and spiritual growth.
Labyrinths and mazes have often been confused. A maze
is like a puzzle to be solved, it has twists, turns and blind alleys. A
labyrinth has one path. It is unicursal. The way in is the way out. There
are no wrong turns or dead ends.
Christine has been creating labyrinths for over ten years
indoors and outdoors, using black lights, string, Christmas lights, crepe
paper and more. She has built labyrinths between 35 to 72 feet in diameter,
enhancing them with candles, music, pyramids, canopies, fire pits and altars.
enjoys the role of consultant by helping people construct their own
labyrinth in a variety of special and beautiful ways. Her labyrinths
have attracted people from all over the United States with her unusual
and innovative designs and ceremonies. She strives to make each
labyrinth a unique experience for all.
